This was a project funded by North Walsham Haz ( Heritage Action Zone) project in June 2022. The project engaged the 2 primary schools in North Walsham , North Walsham Infant & Junior School & Millfield Primary School. The walking photography workshop took the children on a journey into town following the Heritage Trail of the town. The feedback was wonderful , the children were so enthusiastic about the subject matter and were sharing stories about the town with each other . One child say
" I never knew that our town was so important and interesting".

This wonderful project funded by the Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty Dedham Vale Sustainable Development Fund. Enabled me to deliver a programme of practical workshops within the Dedham Vale Area. I visited six primary schools, Stoke By Nayland Primary School, Dedham Primary, Stratford St Mary Primary , Bures Primary, Boxted Primary & Langham Primary working with different year groups from year 4 through to year 6 children . Approximately 170 children took part along with their teachers , TA's and helpers. The project took the children on a walking photography workshop where they were encouraged to explore the environment and areas around their schools and capture these areas of AONB through the children eyes. By connecting the children to the landscape in a direct and creative way it opened up a dialogue about the importance of these areas, they're importance for the future of conservation and how to protect them in the future.
